3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Dekalb County Annex Building

The Dekalb County Sheriff’s Department is hosting state mandated training at the Dekalb County Annex Building (basement) 215 E. 9th Street in Auburn, Indiana.

They will have 2 classes: 9am – 11am and 3pm – 5pm

Special Instructions:  Parking will be on the south side of the building in a lot on 10th Street.  Please enter the building through the south doors off of 10th Street.  Follow the stairs to the basement.

This unique way of presenting state mandated training was developed by the Indiana Drug Enforcement Association, and has been seen and approved by the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. In only two hours, you will receive training in all EIGHT mandated areas of Domestic Violence, Hazardous Materials, SIDS, Blood Borne Pathogens, Mental Illness, Human Trafficking, Autism, and the new mandate for 2014 – Alzheimer’s.

Each student will receive 2 ILEA credit hours, Certificate of Training, and a new outlook on this type of training. No more dry, repetitious hours of lectures, but rather an interactive and interesting approach to a must-have training requirement.
