12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Miami County Sheriff's Department

The Miami County Sheriff’s Department, Peru Police Department, Cass County Sheriff’s Department, and the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department will be hosting IDEA’s and Act-Out’s presentation of state mandated interactive training in each of the 8 areas of required state mandates. They will have two sessions (8:00am and 12:00pm) of the Indiana Drug Enforcement Association’s unique, state mandated training, approved by the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.  In just two hours, officers will receive training in the eight mandated areas:  Domestic Violence, Hazardous Materials, SIDS, Blood Borne Pathogens, Mental Illness, Human Trafficking, Autism, and Alzheimer’s.  This refreshing approach gives law enforcement personnel more meaning to state mandated training.  It no longer has to be an all-day, boring, excruciating day of lectures and slide shows.

IDEA has gone green!  Unless requested, no certificates will be given.  ILEA rosters will be copied and handed-out or scanned and emailed accordingly.
